The offline model allows a developer to see the entire structure of a database schema without requiring access to the database itself. This facilitates an accurate and efficient development processes without compromising data security

How can I check my changes?

Use the projection option

Using filtering and comparison options, you can build a set of scripts to roll out your changes, but did you miss something?

Generate an image from the production database and then project your scripts onto this image.

You can then compare the result with your development version (we know a tool that does that) and instantly spot any anomalies.

Of course any errors in your scripts will also be highlighted (but if you used SQL Compass to generate the scripts then there won’t be any)
